Options

To help as much as we can, Beyond Limits has a range of payment methods available.

1 - Private Health Insurance

Beyond Limits is a registered provider with most private health insurance funds.

If you are unsure if you are covered, please contact your insurance company for details.

We have a HICAPS terminal at the clinic for easy on-the-spot claiming from your health fund, so you only need to pay the gap.

2 - National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS)

The NDIS is a national scheme that funds reasonable and necessary support to help people with a disability reach goals throughout life.

The NDIS works with people individually and recognises that people have different needs and goals.

It gives people choice about the support they need to live the life they want.

If your child has a significant and permanent disability or developmental delay, the NDIS helps you and your child get services and support in your community.

It also gives you funding for support like early intervention therapies or one-off items like wheelchairs or communication devices.

3 - Medicare

Chronic Disease Management – previously known as the Enhanced Primary Care Plan

If your child has a chronic medical condition, you may be able to get Medicare benefits to cover allied health services that help manage their condition.

Your GP will be able to determine if your child is eligible to claim rebates under this program and will provide you with the relevant documentation to bring to your appointment with us.

Please ask them to address the referral to our clinic or specific therapist.

This program enables you to receive a partial rebate for up to five sessions over a calendar year.

Medicare Benefits Schedule – Item 135

Items 135 or telehealth equivalent item 92140 are intended for complex conditions, characterised by multi-domain cognitive and functional impairment.

Patient eligibility is for neurodevelopmental disorders, which are assessed to be complex and mean that individuals require support across multiple domains.

The intention of this service is to provide access to treatment through the development of a treatment and management plan by a paediatrician, for individuals diagnosed with a complex neurodevelopmental disorder (NDD).

The development of the treatment and management plan follows a comprehensive medical assessment, and provides the opportunity to refer to eligible Allied Health practitioners for up to a total of 20 MBS treatment services per patient’s lifetime.

Mental Health Care Plan

A Mental Health Care Plan (MHCP) is a structured support plan developed by your GP to assist in managing mental health conditions such as depression, anxiety, PTSD, and more. This plan enables access to Medicare-subsidised psychological services.

With an MHCP, eligible individuals can access up to 10 Medicare-subsidised individual therapy sessions per calendar year, plus additional group sessions if needed. The plan includes an assessment of your mental health, setting treatment goals, referrals to appropriate mental health professionals, and planning for crisis intervention and relapse prevention. Regular reviews are conducted to assess progress and make necessary adjustments to your treatment plan.
